REMIXES 2024: A New Year with New Musical Frontiers
Explore M2KR's latest endeavour - a soul-stirring tribute to the late Moses Taiwa Molelekwa. This third instalment in their remix series is more than a homage; it's a journey through the heartbeats of Afro-Jazz, as pioneered by Molelekwa in the vibrant 1990s. His debut album "Finding One's Self" and the groundbreaking "Genes And Spirits" were more than music; they were narratives of cultural fusion, blending jazz with the rhythmic pulses of kwaito. Molelekwa's genius lies not just in his awards but in his legacy, inspiring a generation of musicians like Nduduzo Makhathini.

In 2016, he joined a group of Swiss and South African musicians, touring Southern Africa under the FOREST JAM project. Jul Dillier was responsible for arranging this version, which featured vocals by Cyril Michel.
