Deeper Kings formed by Dj Sprite and Castro B in 2018, but their working relationship dates back as early as the year 2000 when they started sharing turntables in night clubs. Castro B's history with MELT 2000 goes back to the early 2000'a when he collaborated with Master drummer Mabi Gabriel Thobejane to release his debut remix album FIDELITY re-imagining the works of a number of MELT2000 artists such as Amampondo, Mabi, Madala Kunene, Doc Mthalane, Shiyani Ngcobo and Busi Mhlongo.
Castro's remix of Mam Busi's track Father Of My Children became a classic in South Africa with many radio DJ's continuing to play it on the airwaves.

Almost 20 years later M2KR are proud to present Deeper Kings revisited track Awuku Muzi from Busi Mhlongo's legendary album Urbanzulu.
