Vol. 3 opens and ends with remixes by UK based Ashley Beedle whose Genes & Spirits remix by Moses Taiwa Molelekwa got him a lot of respect especially in South Africa." Il Est Fou" is indeed a crazy remix by Frederic Galliano for the equally mad Oud player Smadj. The front cover photo taken by Dick Jewell in 1995 is dedicated to Durban maskandi group SKELETON with a remix by London based Bandulu. Black Mantis remixed Cuban bata player Mayito's song Jokuma whilst Tony Thorpe produced Syncopation by the late Cuban master Changuito. Mabi Thobejane with Dan Mampone did a Busi Mhlongo cover version whereas Sumthyn Black presented a great remix of Ma m Busi. Krishna Booker from LA met Malagasy Olombelo Ricky in England and South African Superstar Culoe de Song presents his timeless remix version of Mum Busi's Webaba.
All that between 1996 and 2010 !
