Chris Bowden

Born in Birmingham, England, in 1970, saxo wiz Chris Bowden is much in demand as a session player and sideman with various influential Jazz outfits. His first solo album, Time Capsule, is released on Souljazz records in the UK and has been described by iD magazine as 'a journey to the centre of the head' and by Neil Spencer of The Observer as 'sounding like Michael Nyman bumped into a Miles Davies record... subtle, but insinuating.'
Besides Barungwa, Chris Bowden worked with Barungwa and Pops Mohamed on his album, How Far Have We Come?
