Morocco-born, London-based artist Yescene has been making steady waves in the house music industry since his self-released debut single “Alone Again” in 2018.

Since then, he has gone on to release original tracks and remixes on legendary house music labels including King Street Sounds, Moblack Records, Mood Funk Records, Blockhead Records, Deepalma, and Vivifier Records. Yescene’s music has received recognition from award winning DJs and producers including Black Coffee, Stonebridge, Low Steppa, Angelo Ferreri, Sebb Junior, Lizzie Curious, and more.

At the height of the pandemic, Yescene’s daily lockdown jam video series reached thousands of viewers daily and led to a slew of collaborations with established artists and songwriters, multiple live gigs as well as a special feature from DJ store Traxsource.

2024 looks set to be a stellar year for Yescene, with a growing list of collaborations, music releases and gigs booked across Morocco and the UK.

Yescene’s first remix for M2KR (MELT2000 REVISITED) is Wa Mpona by the late South African pianist Moses Taiwa Molelekwa. Moses’ short life was filled with talent and innovation and Kwaito infused track Wa Mpona is a fitting song for a talented producer like Yescene.
