After Mabi left Dr Malombo Philip Thabane he worked with bands like Sakhile and traveled in Europe. During a stay in Germany he recorded an album with local musicians whose names are impossible to read from the worn out stereo open reel tape that Mabi brought along one day. Recorded at O`ton Studio, Hamburg, Billhorner Brückenstr. 40 , 20539 Hamburg or if you have live recordings it`s recorded at Cafe Elbterassen, Hamburg.
The exact date I have forgotten, late 80s or early 90s.
Mabi came with Malombo for “African November” Concerts to Hamburg at the “Fabrik”.
There Mabi met Max and he stayed for 9 month.
